About Us
Rapid is a family run department store based in Liverpool since 1971. Originally based in Renshaw Street, our core business was DIY/Garden. In August 2009 Rapid moved its entire operation into the former John Lewis Building located at Williamson Square, right in the heart of the city centre, directly beneath the Radio City Tower.
We have now fully refurbished over 100,00 sq ft to give our customers an even better, brighter shopping experience all under one roof, (it's a big roof!) Another 60,000 sq ft will open this year giving an even bigger choice of new products, more details to follow. We also have a fantastic new Signature Cafe in store serving hot and cold wholesome Liverpool favourites, including scouse!
Also in store on the 2nd floor we have Linen Warehouse offering a superb range of curtains, cushions, bedroom linens etc. all at great value for money, and on our 1st floor we have the most comprehensive range of Karndean vinyl and Amtico floor coverings together with all the top brands of quality carpets offered to you by the Liverpool Flooring Company, you'll be amazed at the range and the value.
We are truly a unique business, a real destination store for anything home improvement and much, much more!!
