Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all people using Rapidhomedirect.co.uk. Please read them carefully as by using the site or placing an order you are bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions periodically and it is your responsibility to ensure that you check for any changes made. Your continued use of this site after any changes indicates your acceptance of the changed terms.
Registration
When you place an order with Rapidhomedirect you will be required to enter a valid e-mail address in order to receive confirmation e-mails regarding your order. This e-mail address will be used to create a user account that is individual to yourself and can be used to speed up any further orders you wish to place with Rapidhomedirect. You will also be required to provide a password to ensure the security of your account. Do not let anyone else have access to this password and if you think that someone may have access to this password please contact us at info@rapidhardware.com and we will reset your password for you to update. Passwords are never viewed by Rapid staff and we will never ask you for your password.
Delivery Agreement
Our standard delivery time is 5 working days however we endeavor to have most orders with you in 3 working days. Some products have an extended delivery time as they are delivered direct from the manufacturer and the estimated delivery time for these items will be indicated on the product description.
Ordering
Your order is placed when you press the confirm button in the checkout once you have entered your delivery and payment details. At this point your order is not considered to be accepted and enters our order processing stage where further security checks will take place if necessary. If there are any problems with your order at this point we will contact you to advise.
Once your order has been dispatched you will then receive a confirmation e-mail and it is this correspondence that constitutes an agreement to accept your order. Once your order is ready for dispatch we will then charge the credit/debit card for the full amount of your order. Please ensure that the expiry date on the card supplied is after the expected dispatch date as we may not be able to charge your card and therefore process your order.
Your order may be cancelled for reasons including but not exclusive to the following;
Products ordered are unavailable or unsuitable to dispatch.
We are unable to obtain funds from your bank
Pricing or description errors on the products you have ordered.
For any reason you do not comply with these terms and conditions at the time of dispatch.
Telephone Orders
Telephone orders are processed in store however at this time we can only deliver store orders locally and as such we may not be able to accept your order if it is outside our delivery area.
Returns
We offer an exchange or refund on perfect and unused products returned within 28 days of purchase. Please contact our customer services department with your order number and we will provide a returns reference number.
Please note that the following items are unavailable for return unless faulty;
Mattresses, mattress toppers, duvets pillows.
In order for Rapid to continue to offer great products at great prices, we will only cover the delivery cost to return an item if it is deemed to be faulty or unfit for the intended purpose.
Refunds/Exchanges
We're happy when you're happy!!!
Instore : If you return goods within one month of purchase together with your receipt as proof of purchase we will exchange the goods or refund the amount you paid. Goods returned must be in a saleable condition in its original, undamaged packaging.
Special orders are excluded.
Online : We are more than happy to refund or exchange any faulty items, however, this can only be dealt with through our internet site and cannot be completed instore.
Faulty Goods
We make every effort to ensure that your item reaches you in the best possible condition. However, If you have received an item that is faulty or damaged in transit, please contact us at info@rapidhardware.com or telephone 0151 708 2000 as soon as possible and we will investigate the problem further.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your order at any time before you receive your goods by confirming with an email to our customer services team. Once you have received your goods you have 28 days in which to cancel your order and return the goods for a full refund of the purchase price. Goods must be returned unused and in their original packaging in a sellable condition. Please contact our customer services team for a returns reference number. Your refund will be processed once we receive the goods back and they have been fully inspected by our returns team.

Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) We are registered under the Data Protection Act.
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not pass any of your details email to any other trader or organisation. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future if you inform us at the time of placing any order.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

If you believe that your card has been fraudulently used on our site or that your password is known by another, please ensure that you inform us immediately.
Availability
Every effort is made to ensure that the items that we feature on our website are in stock. However, in the unlikely event that a product becomes out of stock or unavailable, we may take steps to contact you either by e-mail, telephone or letter to advise. You are then entitled to cancel your order completely, exchange for a different product or if the item is temporarily out of stock, if you wish, wait for the item to come back in stock. Alternatively if we believe that the item you wish to order will not be replenished we will cancel your order and inform you.

All reasonable care has been made to ensure that the product description and specification is correct. However, specification details may change. We endeavor to keep all of the information held on this site up to date and accurate. We cannot confirm the price or description of any goods until your order is accepted.
Pricing
Prices are inclusive of VAT and all prices are stated in pounds sterling.
Unfortunately errors do sometimes occur and the price quoted is inaccurate. In this event we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund and notification by e-mail.
The RRP prices that are advertised with some items are the suggested price from the manufacturer.
If we refer to a product’s price and show what the previous selling price was, the item will have been offered for sale either in our store or on our web site for that price for a period of 28 days within the previous 6 months.
